Hi Tom,
I attached some photos of girls who presented fresh ideas in geomorphometry, together with some other specialists.
The photo Lu_Huexing.gif shows Huexing (at left, he is not a girl!) who studied various approaches to describe terrain complexity (including yours), especially new, based on total curvature. Now we (he, Ian, John, me) are discussing what are quantitatively defined summits -- I suggested some new idea in China.
